1. The call was not a big deal and the only thing we know is that the WB was not on the call so there is no way they have direct knowledge or even legal indirect knowledge of what was said. Trump released the transcript of the call and anyone with an understanding of English can read for themselves what was said.
2. Trump refused to cooperate with and impeachment inquiry that was not voted on by the full house. Once the House voted for the inquiry Trump did what every President before him has done and claimed Executive Privilege. The House does not get to decide the validity of that claim, the judicial branch has that responsibility but the House leaders never gave them the opportunity to decide the issue.
3. It is the Dems who are looking bad here. How many GOP representatives have crossed party lines? How many Dems? That answer should tell you who is protecting the party and who is protecting the Constitution, not country.
4. In every previous impeachment process, the president in question was afforded basic due process rights. For some reason, the Dem leaders tossed the Constitution and precedent out the window this time.
5. The chances of the SC allowing a fishing expedition into the President's finances are somewhere between slim and none. No one has shown probable cause for those records to be disclosed.
I answered you post but I feel dumber for having read it in the first place.
