That's the OP.

So, it seems that asking if witnesses would be prohibited from testifying in a criminal trial is in the same scope as drawing a conclusion that all the provided testimony would have been disregarded ...if it were a criminal trial.

What you continue to do is mock that the testimony wouldn't count in a criminal trial, but wholly disregard that witnesses the prosecution want to call have been blocked by the defendant.
