tomb opened. Instead they find an angel who opens the tomb.

Luke says there are two men in shining garments. Matthew only says one angel.

Luke mentions no guards at the tomb. Matthew does. Matthew also has the guards telling the chief priest what happened so that the chief priest makes up a story that the disciples stole the body.

Luke never mentions Jesus appearing to the women before they tell the disciples. Matthew does.
