hurt in? Why not sit out the last number of regular season games or just skip a year or even two years of college and just work out? How is getting your knee fvcked up in a "playoff game" any different than a bowl game or regular season game? It's still costing you the exact same thing.

The only reason ESPN applauds it is they can't stand the bowl system and want to do everything they can to destroy it.
