I think selling skills training would be beneficial.
When buying new loan or bank card processing we review up to ten vendors pitching contracts that will last a decade. One sees a huge variance in salesmen skills in building rapport, listening, handling objections and, not only selling the features of their programs but, how their company will handle mistakes, setbacks and other problems we might encounter.
If we want our coaches to have prior training and experience at other programs, why would they would not want some training in selling.
What are those overworked marketing professors at the Trulaske College of Business doing after their grueling 6 credit hours a semester teaching load?
