And it is a great lesson regarding the perils of anger and bitterness. For so long they have been intent on "getting" Trump. And impeachment was always the Holy Grail of their desires. If all else failed (as Mueller, numerous rumor laden books, etc. did), there was always impeachment. And they finally moved on it.
Weeks of secret and then public hearings. News leaks. Accusations. Angry words. And finally articles of impeachment. The Holy Grail. It finally happened. Should be a pinnacle moment - right?
Look at this board as evidence. Have you ever seen the liberals on this board more angry and fully of bitterness? Even in DC the main story as we head toward certain impeachment is how many dems will defect and how poorly this is playing in key states.
This isn't a case of taking a political hit for standing on principle and doing the right thing. This is a case of taking a political hit for doing the political thing to try and score political points. And even though they were told this would happen before they did it, it is finally starting to hit home now that the genie is out of the bottle. And their words and actions are the proof of just how poorly it is going for them.
Bitterness corrodes every vessel that contains it.
