socialists come to you and say they will beat you 20 times about the head and chest with a tire iron.
You understandably object.
They are willing to compromise for the sake of bipartisan comity. They offer 15 strikes to the head only.
You refuse.
They make their last offer of five strikes to the head with a baseball bat and a kick to the groin.
You decline.
.....
Washington Post Headline:
Socialists' repeated offers in the name of bipartisanship constantly rebuffed. Opponents reject three separate compromise offers as socialists attempt to reach agreement with recalcitrant foes.
......
Bipartisanship requires that both sides want the same thing, but disagree on how to get it.
That is not the case today.
The two sides have vastly different objectives, ideologies and methods.
We need to defeat them, not compromise with them. For generations, the left has not wanted bipartisanship. They pretended to, they lied, in order to get a foothold and then control of the apparatus of government. Now they they thought they had it, with the black marxist, they are revealing themselves and their real objectives.
And weaklings and idiots on the right say they want bipartisanship.
You cannot compromise with people who want to kill you.
You can't be dead only on monday, wednesday and friday.
