Made to sound as if that is the holy Grail of politics. Bipartisanship.
No thank you.
Bipartisanship did not work with the Russians when we divided Europe after WWII.
Bipartisanship did not work when Europe gave Hitler the Sudetenland.
How about defeating the other side?
How about letting the force of your argument prevail in an open discussion?
How about throwing the socialists out of government?
Do you think the socialists would want bipartisanship when they take control of all of the government? Is there bipartisanship on college campuses, where both sides of every argument are considered valid and presentable?
When the right was in control of campusses, the left whined that their voice was not being heard. They were correct. The right relaxed their grip and shared power.
Now the left has the power and control. And they are doing everything in their power to make sure that the voice from the right is never ever heard.
Bipartisanship is a term weaklings use when they want to appease, compromise and effectively capitulate.
