Barr says the FBI interviewed Steele’s primary sub-source for the dossier and found he disputed all of the statements Steele attributed to him. So the FBI knew Steele and his dossier were complete garbage no later than January 2017. Even worse, the FBI told the FISA Court in renewals that they found the sub-source to be truthful without mentioning the fact that he disputed all of Steele’s information. That is not an accident. That is an overt action to defraud the FISA Court.
That is just one example. Horowitz saying there is no evidence of bias is like someone in the Epstein investigation making this conclusion:
“While it is clear that Mr. Epstein abused minor girls, there is no documentary or testimonial evidence that he was motivated by a deviant sexual interest in those young girls.”
