Yes, he is young but that means little.
Yes, he took over a great program, but he's 12-1. Okay, that doesn't mean he is Bear Bryant. But it does mean that at worst he's a competent head coach that can get players to win from week to week and win on the road in tough places like North Carolina and South Carolina.
His 'red flags' are actually just questions we have, that we don't have the answers to.
And the rest of his bullet points all point to very positive things.
It's an unusual hire. A coach with experience. But only 1 year. But that year was 12-1 elite stuff.
Not sure I can think of a comparable hire off the top of my head
