People die. dude lived to be 92. WELL DONE. That is not being a douche - it a lauding a long a life and the completion thereof. Death is nothing but the next step in the cycle of life.
I don't go wailing - "OH MY GOD, THE HUMANITY !!" when some friends grandmother buys the farm. I say "good for her". It is the loss that we may (or may not) suffer upon such a loss, but nothing more than that.
