as a refresher, the university has a rule prohibiting firearms on campus. a law school professor challenged the rule in a lawsuit against the university. the mo ag (koster, who was successfully courting the nra for endorsement in his failed bid for governor) joined the professor in suing the university. the judge found the professor/ag failed to meet its burden of proof in challenging the rule and that, if the burden was on the university, it satisfied strict scrutiny analysis. i.e. the rule prohibiting firearms on campus was upheld.
