First thing the Japanese army did when they arrived at her village was gather everybody together, tie some people up, put them in a house, set the house on fire.
My wife's relatives have never recovered from what Japan did in WWII.
It's unfortunate America only had 2 nukes to drop on Japan. America rebuilt Japan but did little for our allies.
