conference in the country & are in the weaker division of that conference giving an excellent coach a shot at a division championship & in an outstanding year a shot at the conference championship & the football playoffs.

In 2007, We had Chase Daniel and 10 Missouri starters...
... on offense and of course, on defense Willy Mo, Brock Christopher, Carl Gettis, Luke Lambert, Van Alexander, Darnell Terrell were from in-state.

Now, don't get me wrong. We don't win without Daniel, Danario, Sulak, Weatherspoon, Ziggy Hood.

But I think it proved that if you keep all the best in-state talent, and supplement it with Texas recruits where you can find legit 5-star talent disguised as 2 and three star, you will win big in Missouri.

We do have great in-state football talent.

it's why Ohio State, Notre Dame, Iowa, Oklahoma and Nebraska practically set up camp and lived here for decades.

Pinkel was the first since Devine to lock down most of the great in-state talent
