Some thoughts on nanny pelooza's move. I admit i don't

know why she is doing it. Likely it is one of these or more likely, some parts of many of them.
1. She knows she doesn't have the votes to impeach. Stay with me on this one. This may actually be the wisest course of action.
Cut your losses, move on. Whine and claim "we was robbed". The evil Rs and the media (i love it when the socialists pretend to complain about the media) didn't give us a fair shake. Make themselves into victims, duh, and play the martyr in the next election.
2. Given that the trial if the impeachment votes passes, will take many weeks or months, and hamstring the socialist candidates for president currently in the senate, those senate candidates will be disadvantaged.
That would be a good thing. Thin lizzie is divisive, stupid and likely nuts. Bernice Anders is just another old white guy. Klobuchar is relatively sane in that field, but has no realistic chance.
This may signal that pelooza knows that the current field is so lame and so OBVIOUSLY radical, that they have no chance in the general election. So by handicapping the current field, especially thin lizzie, she improves the chances of a socialist winning the white house. A more covert socialist...
The only fly in that ointment is that, Spartacus is um, black. Therefore there is disparate impact on people of color. And that makes it racist. Or it would if the Rs did it.
3. She may be doing what the socialists often do, screw everything up, and then blame the Rs for screwing everything up. If impeachment passes the house of reprehensibles but fails in the senate as currently seems likely, it's because of those damned greedy, war mongering hateful, racist republicans.
Once again the martyr thing. To be used in 2021 and beyond.
4. Building on number three above, she may believe this effort even if it fails, will sully the president. It will mark him as a criminal who "got away with it". The white OJ Simpson. That may be valuable she thinks in his next term as they will have more reasons to resist his tyrannical steel booted reign.
She may think it will cause him to act "presidential" like every other wimpy republican, save reagan, in the last half century. He will be cowed into being a submissive lap dog. A john mccain, willing to reach across the aisle to capitulate, i mean do the work of the american people.
5. By keeping the spotlight on impeachment, nanny pelooza will keep the spotlight off, or at least mitigate the glare of the spotlight on trump's attacks on the deep state, the obama administration, fat hillary's corruption and biden's drug addled son getting rich at the government trough. And the media's collusion in all of those.
Always remember, obama is not to be touched. And the socialists love to change the subject and attack. They are used to playing offense and getting the Rs to play defense.
Maybe not this time nance.
6. Maybe she is waiting and hoping for (yes, hoping for) or trying to instigate (yes i said that) a shooting war involving the united states. THAT, may have a serious impact on trump's chances. We see it on this board how some of the mods are starting to awaken from a socialist induced slumber of decades. Hmmm, the economy, the media, immigration...the impact of a booming economy on "people of color"...maybe trump ain't so bad as president. To be sure, he is still an evil human being, but...
A shooting war in addition to the socialists and the media working hard to talk down the economy may damage trump in the election and beyond.
7. If trump wins in 2020 and things get bumpy in his next term, the socialists can say, "See, we told you but you wouldn't listen. You black people, i mean people of color, you left the plantation last time because you were deceived by a huckster, a charlatan, a carnival barker. Come home to the socialist party where you are loved and needed. And taken care of. The party of sympathy and lower standards wants to welcome you home."
8. Or hell, maybe it's just desperation.

Nanny pelooza is a despicable person but a savvy politician, although she was outmaneuvered by alexandria occasional-kotex. She is thinking long term. Like a few years ago when she abandoned what was left of the moderate wing of the socialist party. The Rs took the house because in part, of her not supporting anyone but deep blue politicians. Now they have regained some of those lost seats. We'll see better the results of her efforts after the elections of 2020.
She sees politics as a game. With a winner and a loser and the only players are the parties. The american people do not figure in her scorecard one bit. It's us against them and the american people are merely spectators. Like the athletes in professional sports who say "We have the greatest fans in the world", sure you do. Because they will buy your crap and your crappy jerseys. Pretend you like them. Pretend you love them and need them. They are a part of your family and the reason you want to finish your career in buffalo. Or jacksonville. Or friggin cleveland, lebron...
And that's all true until new york or LA or some town with better strip clubs and more money comes calling. Then the greatest fans in the world in buffalo or jacksonville are like toilet paper, or cindy sheehan, or stormy daniels, or black voters; disposable. They do the dirty work and then they are flushed down the toilet. Not given another thought.
The american people and their welfare are of absolutely no concern to nanny pelooza and the socialist party.
They are not people, they are votes.
They are voting blocks.
They are a demographic.
They are precincts.
They are electoral determiners.
They are special interests.
They are assorted victims' groups.
They are not individuals. They don't matter as individuals.
She is the consummate politician and she plays to win. For her party, not for the fans or people she claims to love so dearly or the constitution which she reviles but uses as a the symbol of our great country when she needs to pretend to be patriotic or feign concern for the values and traditions of the country.
While number one above, actually may be her best course of action, she will not likely go there. It would mean she lost. And it's a game. She doesn't play games to lose. And cheating is ok. Because the ends justify the means.
I don't pretend to know why she is doing this or what will be the result. But to the socialists, the game is not about the constitution, it's not about justice, it's not about the rule of law.
And it's sure as hell not about the american people.
