You seem to be using their absence as some sort of proof. I'm not sure what legal argument you are using there. In the US it is innocent until proven guilty. To prove guilt you have to have FACT witnesses that have first-hand knowledge of actual facts. That is why they are called fact witnesses. Schiff had exactly one fact witness in that joke of a hearing and the only fact they testified to was that Trump told him, in no uncertain terms, that he wanted nothing from Ukraine.

So to sum it up Schiff had one witness with first-hand information and he would have been a much better defense witness than prosecution. Yet the Dems are still moving forward because their case is not about facts but feelings and emotions. They have had a number of witnesses that had very strong feelings and opinions sadly none of them had any actual factual knowledge.
