I understand what you wrote, but I do not doubt Epstein and Trump ( and the Clintons also for that matter) knew each other. You are more likely to remember certain people who have a certain amount of fame/wealth/notoriety. You remember meeting the Prince of England.

Who is the most famous person you've met? You remember.
