Sorry, “people of color” usually means black. The colored guy can also be gay, transsexual, or just friggin crazy, that’s fine. He or she can be filled with hate; for trump, for crackers, or for the united states. No problem.
Can’t be conservative though. That would not properly represent colored people.
My guess is that the good congressman was not lamenting the fact that there were no Asians on the panel.
“People of color” generally means black.
But saying, “people of color“ makes them seem more open. More inclusive, more welcoming.
Less bigoted. Less phony. Less self-serving.
You think Green knows that different races don’t even exist? Think he knows about social constructs?
