it's nothing that hasn't been going on since the internet became a platform for communicating information across borders. The Democrats made an issue of it because Hillary lost and they couldn't believe it. Both Russia and Ukraine did what all nations, including the United States, does all the time.
Let's take election meddling completely off the table. It muddies the waters and distracts from the only thing they should be focused on: Did Trump bribe the president of another country to help him smear his political opponent? That's the only thing that should be discussed. Not election meddling. Not firing an ambassador.
