went down, but I got the impression that it all happened after the Arkansas game.
But maybe he did ask for the vote of confidence after the Ol' Miss win... and he went back all ticked off & told his staff... and their disgruntlement(?) didn't get back to Sterk et al until later & they called Odom onto the carpet after the Arkansas game.
Another option, is that Sterk had heard that the staff wasn't too happy about the decision not to issue a vote of confidence and used that opportunity to call Odom onto the carpet knowing he was upset, perhaps even intending to provoke him into a confrontation & using that as a pretext to fire him. That would let him put more of the blame onto Odom & perhaps take a little heat off of himself if the new hire gets off to a less than stellar start.
I would have to think that the two sources who spoke to the podcasters were giving Sterk's side of the story.
