Why?
Mizzou needs to be the center of attention and Lane brings that. Lane has the it factor that helps with recruiting especially Missouri players. Lane is an offensive coach and offense puts butts in the seats.
The media loves this guy not to mention the guys got 450,000 twitter followers. Only a very small handful of coaches have this many followers. Obviously twitter followers do not determine a great coach but it does show how interested people are in him.
We need a great coach and a big personality
Lane would be very motivated after stops in Tennessee and Alabama.
Lane would become the instant face of Mizzou football. Lane can recruit. Lane studied under Saben. Lane won a national championship while at Alabama.
Missouri need Lane not a boring coach who will take a while to warm up to players and fans. We need an atomic bomb!
