He’ll be a 34-year-old career backup next season. Can’t imagine many teams are going to throw big money at him.

Retiring to take over as the OC for Pinkel would make sense in a lot of ways for both guys. Pinkel has a long history of bringing his former players into the coaching ranks, and Daniel’s been talked about as a future coach since he was like 18.
