tradition of getting together with friends on Black Friday to weave hemp ankle bracelets for impoverished children who can’t afford hemp ankle bracelets. We weave, we laugh, we dance, we sing, and we pull tubes with some of the stickiest, red haired Humboldt County bud that you’ll ever find. Amount those in attendance are a beet farmer, a Canadian Mountie, a hedge fund manager, a weaver of handmade merkins, a chimney sweep, a teamsters union rep, and my children.
