the blame rests square on Odumb and his ability as a recruiter. This isn't the NFL where you have like 52 guys, he's got over 80 guys. A college team is nearly twice as deep as an NFL team.

When your starters are 2 star guys who inch their way up to a 3 star guy, the other 2 star guys who inch their way to 3 stars on paper, end up being real 2 to no star guys that is your problem.

Odumb recruits a lot of players NO ONE else wants on the P5 side... when you don't develop those guys you're screwed.

Even when Pinkel was head coach, he was banking on developing those guys and hitting on about 30% of them. Pinkel would mix those guys with the handful of 4 and 5 star guys. His teams where not deep either but the starters always ended up being leget P5 players.

Odumb's team is more of a WAC level with nothing behind them. Even if NO ONE got hurt it wouldn't make a difference, this is a team with probably legit 39% are 2 star athletes, 60% are 3 stars and about 1% has NFL talent.

The guys on the bench couldn't start for Wyoming much less another SEC team. That is the problem

Odumb just can't recruit. Injuries have nothing to do with it. Odumb has about 20 guys who can compete in the SEC and the rest aren't good football players.
