a player who is already on the team is thinking this: I've been going to practice every day, showing up for all the off season workouts, doing everything the coach wants me to do exactly the way he wants it done. Some guy comes in who has never spent a minute in the coach's system and he is better. Maybe the coach is full of shinola.
