Not speaking specifically about the impeachment thing. That is really just a sympton. But the nation itself has been irrevocably transformed. Seems now that the country I knew growing up was mostly the vestiges of WWII and the responding Beats and Hippie social movements but it was an historic aberration. Totalitarians cannot be kept down for long.
The Right owns it now full and clear. Trump is the result. He saw tyrants across the world amassing great fortunes off their respective states and set about to do the same himself. He is your dictator now with his Court in the Senate and his coterie of judges protecting him. It is sad really. I so loved America.
And THIS coming at this time of national Thanksgiving. Irony roars as decency dies. Oh and by the by you all take a back seat to Vlad Putin who orchestrated all of it. Watch for Russian sanctions to go away. It just isn't fair to punish Russia for what the Unkranians did.
