It’s a rebuild at a low pressure program. But at least one can have some hope that MU will grow back to a tourney team. My biggest concern is that MU isn’t going to take it to another level (from a nice lil program that quickly exits the tourney stage) until it gets more athletic, better at the point and in the post. We will see if that is coming in the future.
I think it is easy to get down on a season like this because ALL MU fans are looking for some program to become a big deal. Nosediving off a cliff this season is not helping sustain momentum that one would’ve hoped the Sophie years established. But MU is not a re-load school and has to build toward a good team. Hopefully it is a short rebuild.
