One that was reliable.
It really depends on what you are wanting. If you lease you you always have a car payment but you never own a car. The plus side is that you are always driving a brand new car. Leased for six years and never had a car repair, never replaced any tires and my only upkeep was a few oil changes and a couple of wiper changes.
I bought this time around because my daughter will be driving about the time I pay this one off and I thought it would be a good first car for her.
I leased two Jettas and then purchased this one. I love Volkswagens and will probably keep buying them. I don’t have any desire to own a luxury car and VW makes a great vehicle. My wife loves Hondas but I find them too cramped, no acceleration and they handle like a battleship. VWs are made for full sized people, handle great and now that turbos are standard are actually fun to drive.
