It's no big deal financially or even a big hit to the program's reputation if a 6-6 or 7-5 team is denied going to some second-rate bowl.

But if the bowl ban is upheld, Mizzou doesn't receive about $7 million in revenue that the SEC distributes for bowls and the playoff.

That's the most severe sanction from this NCAA mess.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
