New Tilmon strategy: floating around the 3-point line?

Couldn't help but notice how much time Tilmon spent at the 3 point line in the second half. Sure, less chance for his usual ticky-tacky fouls, but we sure could have used him down low for some higher percentage shots. Most of the time he only had the 3 fouls. Not sure this is the best Tilmon strategy.
