worst part of higher ed today probably comes from the admin rather than the teachers.

Your last sentence is SO accurate, but unrealized by most. I'm on another talk board, with college classmates only, and I ask them to disagree if they do. Thats how one can learn something. What can one learn from a yes man? But most colleges today just want yes men around.
