where he met the Russians. Said most foul smelling and dirtiest soldiers he had ever met. Both men and women. LOl.
Jewish guy from Stl who afterwards went to U of Illinois where his roommate was Jay Pritzer of Marmon Group and Hyatt Hotel fame. They got put together because they wre both Jewish . It was 1946. One of the grandsons is Gov of Illinois now
My client was in training in Santa Barbara for invasion of Japan when war ended. Great man and I think of him every Veterans Day He died years ago but still had a coronet he stole from the Cologne Opera house when they "liberated" Cologne . As a musician himself it was his pride and joy
