It replaces the defunct The Weekly Standard, which along with National Review have housed the majority of anti-Trump opinion within Republican circles. You might as well have cited CNN or the HuffPo. Kristol has grown increasingly careless in his criticisms of Trump and has marginalized himself from the conservative mainstream.
