attempt to impeach Trump is off the rails now. The incidents they've drummed up are trivial at best. The witnesses have served only to confirm conservative complaints of bureaucratic overreach and meddling in political affairs. Most of the operatives testifying aren't elected, they aren't even appointed, they are career civil servants tasked only with carrying out the policies of office holders. I believe most voters understand this for what it is.
