1. We as coaches have to do a better job of getting this team ready to play. We think we have done that - we know we've practiced hard - the effort is there - it just hasn't come together the way we wanted these last two weeks.
2. Every game is huge and every opponent can beat us if we don't do what we need to do to win. With the right attitude, preparation and execution we can win any game - but our margin of error is not great - we can't have a let down in any area without things becoming a real challenge.
3. That's not for me decide. All I can do is focus on the next game, prepare, do my job, make sure this team does it's job. As long as we've all done everything we can to win, I'm content to let the chips fall where they may.
4. We're working so hard getting ready for the next game I don't think anyone has any time to waste on doubting - it's just not in the way we run things. You look at the practices and see this team's spirits are high. They're excited for the opportunity in front of them.
5. We focus on the next opponent, preparing for that opponent in the right way, practicing in the right way and doing whatever we can to maximize our chances to win - that's all we're focused on.
6. If I didn't believe that I wouldn't come into work, so yes, absolutely.
7. We have recruited talent here in Missouri and we will continue that, but our focus in recruiting isn't just Missouri. If you look at the roster I think you'll see guys from all over. We look for players that can play, who like our program, who can see themselves contributing in a big way, and who really want to come here. We like the group of guys we've got, they approach the game the right way, they approach the work the right way and anyone that does that will fit in here, and guys from all different states are doing that here at Mizzou.
8. The facility is fantastic, and it has helped us, it does help us. We are kind of just settling in, as it's brand new, but there's no doubt the impact of having such a fantastic facility was immediate and we all appreciate it every day.
9. In terms of uniforms certainly beauty is in the eye of the beholder sometimes, but we appreciate Nike working with us to really stay on the cutting edge uniform-wise - it's an area our recruits give us compliments on so we're happy with our approach there.
10. This team understands the ups and downs of football. Sometimes you do everything you're supposed to and it doesn't work out. Rarely do you do everything to where you can't get better. These next few games, in terms of focus, in terms of preparation, in terms of getting ready the right way are no different than any game on the schedule. We'll give it everything we've got and try to bring the fans home a win.
