Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin is officially requesting to recanvass the votes from yesterday’s election.

A gubernatorial candidate can request a recanvass of the vote, but not a full recount. A recanvass is a reprint of the receipts from voting machines to check.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
