They would need a very strong candidate to overcome the obstacles you just named. Right now they have a seriously flawed Biden who has been further hampered by their Ukraine push or Warren who has no traction with middle America or minority voters.

This impeachment is their Hail Mary. But they are throwing it from their own five yard line and their receivers are all in full body casts.
