2 ineligible players, someone who received over $5k in improper benefits, and someone who was facing a sexual assault allegation that hadn't been disclosed publicly yet.
But Memphis collapsed down the stretch, so Memphis had to vacate their season due to using an ineligible player. Had they held on, Memphis would be 2008 champions and ku would have vacated the 2008 season. Shortly thereafter the FBI revealed ku was again guilty of lack of institutional control and in violation of their current probation through their ticket redistribution scheme. But nothing happened to ku at all. That is the way the NCAA works.
