I dare say that if the American economy fully embraced

bright, young, energetic 18-year olds with the same enthusiasm as 23 year-olds with fairly useless 3.8 GPAs and BS degree papers, that we could dispense with colleges and universities entirely.
After all, the amount of actual useful knowledge dispensed between the ages of 4 to 23 could easily be condensed into just a few years - leaving the kids time to play and socialize until they are ready to do their thing.
Some are ready to enter the workforce at 12, others 14, others much later. Forced exits at 18 or 23, with an embarrassing majority confessing that they 'have no idea what they really want to do' is itself a damning credential for the entire 'educational' system.
Add to that the fact that the Universities have now become globalist indoctrination centers and are actually doing significant harm, and we have a whole phase of young adult life ripe for revolution.
In the end I predict the institutions of the Great American South (so called) will go down in history as most famous for successfully promoting minor league football over infusing intelligent, able, innovative & energetic resources into the economy.
As for the 'Ivy League' institutions, whose members have been trained to believe a 'life of service' in government bureaucracies (delivered from a certain political angle of course) is the ultimate purpose in life, these future deep-staters are currently proving to be the end of the Republic itself.
Anyone operating in a reasonably successful capitalist economy where Life, Liberty & the Pursuit of Happiness are honored to some extent, can learn anything, do anything, be anything and move freely between the loosely organized 'classes' of that nation. The colleges and universities of today are not only redundant and unnecessary, they are most definitely blocking the next phase of human evolution.
Hopefully some future generation will fully embrace the true freedoms available to them and dispense with these dinosaur institutions entirely.
