I wonder which is more painful as a fan ---

being the fan of a team like Mizzou, that has come "close" a few times to winning conference championships and being poised for national contention -- or being a fan of teams like Tennessee and Nebraska, having tasted national championships in years past only to be mired in prolonged mediocrity today.

My hope is that Mizzou wins 7-9 games consistently, goes to decent bowls, and at some points in the next decade wins the SEC title. We should at the very least develop winning records over teams like Vanderbilt, Kentucky (ugh) and our "rival" Arkansas, and compete well against teams like South Carolina, and then surprise Goergia or Florida every couple of years. Finishing within the top 3 in the East would be a decent goal.
