CFL's were the biggest piece of sh*t hoax ever put on the American consumer.
Have 10 can lights in the basement ceiling and ended up replacing them with CFL's. Slower than fvck to warm up to temperature and for a supposed long life, they burned out quickly. And then you find out they really shouldn't be put in can lights because the heat gets trapped UP near the ballast and they have conversion kits which should actually be used.
