major. Active duty Sgt. and he had an admin job at Navy ROTC to fill his time. Had a 2nd job tending bar for extra cash. Long story short, grades suffered and he got booted to Adak as his next duty station. When the military wants to punish you, they can really make your life hell.

He married one of my wife's roommates and she said Armed Forces TV was all they had. I Love Lucy was the height of programming.
