I can see his point to a degree......Money usually talks, massive attendance and revenue drops usually produces actions and change because the Media then jumps on board the coach needs to go train as well.
If Mizzou sold out every game and had great donations but just won 6-7 games most years then Odom would have a life time contract the Ath.dept would see no need for change. The product would never elevate or get better because the revenue would be good and the Athletic Dept would be fine with that.
