LANE KIFFIN - Here is Why

We need to HIRE Lane Kiffin and here is why!
1) He has run two major programs he made mistakes. He has the experience and the mistakes to do it right this time.
2) Clearly the guy is talented otherwise Saben wouldn't have hired him. He learned under Saben on how to get it done right.
3) Lets face it he turned around Florida Atlantic. In their previous three seasons to Kiffin they won 9 games. Under Kiffin 21 games so far and a bowl game. He's got that program headed in the right direction. Keep in mind those small schools play major schools for money all automatic losses. They have played Ohio State, Wisconsin, Oklahoma, UFC ect. Not easy to turn around these programs but they're clearly headed up.
4) Mizzou needs a media magnet ... Lane Kiffin gets almost as much press as any coach in the country and he's at Florida Atlantic. Lane Kiffin will IMMEDIATELY gain national attention and his press conferences will be covered by EVERYONE.
5) Motivation: No doubt he's going to be motivated to prove he can be a winner. He'd give anything to beat Tennessee, Alabama and the rest. I think he will put everything he has into this job.
6) Recruiting: His current recruiting classes aren't that far off from Barry Odum. He's getting nearly as many four star guys as Mizzou NOW! Look at his 2019 class a couple four star and about 15 3 star guys that is looking about the same as Mizzou. He's doing this at little bitty Florida Atlantic. He's going to LOCK DOWN Missouri players he will have the press coverage to do it. Players want a coach with some splash and Kiffin brings that in spades.
7) Splash: We don't need a coach he's turned around Bowling Green, we need a national media splash. We need a guy who's going to make everyone say OH NO what is going to happen next. This wakes up everyone from the MEDIA to the FANS and everyone between. MIZZOU NEEDS A MAJOR SPLASH!
8) What do you have to lose: It can't get worse. None of the Missouri players are staying home. We're getting scraps from other states. No one cares about Mizzou football. The media and basically everyone finds Barry so so so boring, you can't get worse. I think we need to make the do or die approach and Kiffin is that guy.
9) SEC Expereince: He's been the head coach at Tennessee and OC at Alabama and currently coaches in Florida. All SEC territory.
10) Offense: Lets face it offense sells tickets and Kiffin is an offense first guy. If you're going to lose don't lose 10-3 or 29-7... no lose 43-41. Win lose or draw offense sells tickets and that is exactly what Mizzou needs to create a fan base who find the team interesting.
BONUS: Facilities are amazing now. Kiffin will have the tools he needs to compete with Alabama and the like. Now is the time.
