In 2015, yes, no decent coach was going to come to Mizzou. A lot of people don't want to accept that reality, but it's a fact. But it's not 2015 anymore.
Mizzou is an SEC program, the very best conference in the land. I think Mizzou is very competitive facility-wise. Mizzou lacks in fan support and donations, which are products of winning and that can be corrected by a good coach. Coaches get that.
The concern is will the administration spend the money and have the right attitude to hire the right coach that can turn it around? There is an interesting post down below about Ehren Earlywine's comments about Nick Saban wouldn't be able to coach at Mizzou. I can see why he would say that, and that is troublesome. But I think Mizzou's attitude is pretty clear in the "be nice" clause in BO's contract. Color we worried.
I'm not saying it's time for BO to go. The time for that is after the season has played out and has to be based on a rational thought process and not emotion coming out of a bad loss or two. But it's not looking good right now.
