cultural appropriation do that very thing when it comes to language. Maybe he meant he was odd.

You're seeing the same thing with Trump's "lynching" tweet. Yes, lynching is predominantly associated with slavery and racists, but it was also present in the old West and blacks are not the only folks to be lynched. It's a word that's been around a long time, and not limited to one group. Folks should stop being aggrieved by words. Other than on TigerBoard.
