impeachment was a serious endeavor, they would have conducted it publicly. Every alleged whistleblower and witness would have been exposed to cross examination by partisans on both sides. The President's attorney would have been provided all of the evidence and access to witnessed in advance of hearings. The minority members and counsel would have negotiated with the majority on the process. None of this has occurred. This isn't an impeachment process, it is impeachment theater. They will never vote on articles of impeachment, because they would immediately lose control of the process to Senate republicans.
