Is it Fester's conspiratorial view that they're trying to manage us for the global elite?
Is it the NYT op-ed piece that views them as patriotic souls trying to shepherd the country through difficult issues?
Is it somewhere in between, or just lazy bureaucrats protecting a paycheck?
