The four gospels supposedly tell the same story. Yet there are many conflicts in the storyline. If the bible is the word of god, why all the discrepancies?

Why?

Because god is a man made concept. Man came first, then communication, then stories made up in an effort to explain the world around them before science. Then stories were told of wars and heroes. Embellishment. Then the old testament. Then the new.

Just myth and legend, nothing more.
