A grand jury is not a partisan group. It is most assuredly a mix of people with different beliefs and values. The House inquiry is purely partisan
Ata grand jury witnesses still have due process rights. The House has basically eliminated these rights.
A grand jury works together to subpoena documents and witnesses. It isn't just a select few members of the grand jury that decide as is what is occurring in the House
At a grand jury the prosecutor is submitting evidence in hopes of securing an indictment. He isn't interviewing looking for evidence. He already knows for the most part what the person will say.
A grand jury doesn't than refer the evidence to another body to determine if there is going to be an indictment, which is what Nancy has indicated is the plan.
